The Oncology Interactive Education Series (OIES)

This computer software benefits patients, families and health care professionals by providing up-to-date information on any of 24 specific types of cancer (such as breast, lung, colorectal and prostate cancers). Patients and families benefit from viewing 2-dimensional images of the anatomy and learning about treatment options. They can also review interviews with cancer survivors enabling them to learn from the experience of others who have been diagnosed with the same type of cancer.

This program is available through the cancer patient and family resource room. Volunteers are available to support people who want to use this resource. Previous computer experience is not necessary to use this program.
