POSITION SCOPE:
Accountable to the
Nurse Manager to provide safe, competent patient care within the LPN Scope in
primary unit(s) or reassigned unit(s) and in accordance with the Mission,
Policies and Procedures of South West Health.
This position requires that the successful candidate be
available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
·
LPN currently licensed in the
·
Appropriate CPR certification
·
One year recent med/surg
experience
·
Able to function within the LPN Scope
of Practice
·
Certification in blood glucose
monitoring
·
Demonstrated commitment to continued
professional development
·
Pharmacology course
·
Medical Administration experience
·
Experience with IVs
·
Physical assessment skills and
medication skills
