Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Services Moving Back to Townsend Street
Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) staff members who work in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Services have returned to their offices on Townsend Street in Sydney.
Flooding during the Thanksgiving Day storm damaged the first floor offices of Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Services. The area required extensive clean-up and repair work. Since the flood, Child & Adolescent staff members continued to see their clients at the Medical Arts Building on Kings Road in Sydney. Starting Mar. 29, clients will be seen at the Townsend Street location.
Clients of Child & Adolescent Services continue to be contacted about their appointment time and location. If clients have questions about the relocation or upcoming appointments, they can call Child & Adolescent Services directly at 902-567-7731.
NSHA extends a thank you to Connors Office Supplies and the Membertou First Nation for their support and generosity. NSHA also extends its appreciation to the public and its Mental Health and Addictions staff for their patience and cooperation during the temporary relocation.
