The Shelburne County Community Health Board is a group of volunteers from Shelburne County who work together to improve the health of the community.

Our vision is to develop resources, with community input, to improve the health of Shelburne County residents; and, to produce a health plan that is easily understood, accessible and current.

Wellness Funds

APPLY NOW FOR 2012-2013 WELLNESS FUNDS

Community Health Boards work with South West Health and the Nova Scotia Health Department of Health and Wellness to make Wellness Funds available to our community. The Wellness Fund is intended to support projects identified by community groups and organizations.

Community groups and organizations that have a project idea are encouraged to apply to the Shelburne County Community Health Board to be considered for Wellness Funds.

Meetings:

Shelburne County Community Health Board meetings are held in the Roseway Hospital Boardroom, Room 161,

the first Wednesday of each month, commencing at 7:00 PM.
