Hospital Auxiliary

The Women's Auxiliary of the Yarmouth Regional Hospital raises funds to be spent on equipment for the Hospital for the benefit of staff and clients.

Money is raised through volunteers working in the hospital gift shop and an annual Hullabaloo that happens the last Saturday of September each year.

A yearly membership fee of one dollar ($1.00) or a life membership of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) is all that is required to become a member of the Hospital Auxiliary.  Membership chairman is Ann Robicheau, phone 742-5947.

Monthly meetings of the Auxiliary are held on the last Tuesday of each month except June, July and August.  The September meeting is held one week earlier in order to finalize details of the Hullabaloo.

The Hullabaloo is a one-day sale of food, toys, jewelry, plants, crafts and other donated items that is supported by the community.  This year the venue is the Mariner's Centre, Starrs Road, Yarmouth.

Donations for the Hullabaloo may be left at the gift shop at the hospital.  If the item is large or there are a number of items, call the gift shop at 742-3541 ext. 110 and directions will be given where items can be delivered.  Items for the auction are always welcome.
